Mesmerists are a naturally-occurring form of psychomorph that existed during the Inspired Age, spanning from 1922 into the 1940s. They may or may not be the same thing as the psiads which arise at other points along the Trinity Continuum. They're awakened by exposure to telluric energy.[1]
Mesmerists are a form of Inspired who are capable of manipulating Psi energies: they can read minds, see the future, levitate objects, and other feats of mentalism. Unlike the subconscious manipulations of daredevils or the physiological alterations of stalwarts, mesmerists alter the world around around them through a conscious, focused, force of will.
