- Dr. Marie Equi escapes San Quentin State Prison after starting two simultaneous riots: one for prisoners' living conditions and one for the guards' lack of pay.[1]
- 1934
- A newspaper reports that aviatrix "Queen Bess" Coleman survived an attempted mid-air bombing of her aeroplane at an air show in Houston.[1]
- 2018
- The Æon Society publicly invites open dialog with any interested novas to help study and understand their abilities. The often violent initial manifestation of powers leads to the adoption of the term "eruption."[2]
