Biotech (sometimes bioware or bioapps) is the term for biological appliances and biotechnological devices introduced by psions when they appeared to humanity in 2106. The term is usually used in contrast to "hardtech," traditional non-biological technology.[1]
Psionically-active bioware is sometimes called "psiware."[2]
