Events[]
- Pearl City in the Caribbean holds a referendum to secede from Venezuelan control. In return for a series of economic treaties, Venezuela allowes Pearl City to join Oceania.[1]
- A locust analogue hatches and swarms the Far Nyumba colony. Their bodies clog machinery and nearly wipe out the colony's crops.[2]
- Tekne begins working on the Extra Satisfactory Intelligence (ESI) project.[3]
March[]
- March 17: Njenga Jeptoo recounts how he thought Karroo was "done for" when the latest wave of Chromatics attacked. He relates his surprise when N'Gamba briefly vanished, only to reappear with a smile and say that "we're going to be okay." A number of strange glowing figures appear in space and help the Karrooans take out the Chromatic force seemingly unaided. The leader then appears before N'Gamba, introducing himself as Apollo, before Jeptoo passes out.[4] That humans brought Corruptors to save them terrifies the Chromatics and reaffirmed their justification for dark war.[5]
