- In response to declining church membership, Pope Innocent XV issues the papal bull Qua dispensatione animam ("The Dispensation of Souls"), affirming that as long as the sensation of consuming bread and wine is experienced by a real priest, then transubstantiation may occur via digital projection. Other denominations of Christianity follow suit.[1]
- Pope Innocent XV elevates Fr. Byrne Draper to bishop, assigning him the ecclesiastical province of Cascade.[1]
- New Tampa is constructed as a Federated States Military base for submarines, but soon becomes home for salvage crews mining the ruins of flooded Florida cities and a trade port. [2]
