- Maxwell Anderson Mercer, who had not been seen since the Hammersmith Incident, reappears in the doorway of Doctor Primoris' office, who takes him to a hospital in Essex to recover. Max claims amnesia of his missing months. [1][2]

- Following his hospital stay, Maxwell Anderson Mercer founds the Æon Society for Gentlemen with friends Whitley Styles and Michael Damien Donighal.[3][4][1][5][6][7][8][9][10] The Babel Dossier is created.[11]
