- Amelia Edwards, founder of the Esoteric Egyptian Explorers' Society, and co-founder of the Esoteric Order of the Æons passes away.[1]
- As more people get involved with the Esoteric Order of the Æons, its secrets also grow. With the passing of Amelia Edwards, the founders swing towards voting for Aether to be kept a secret from most members, shared only with Aethernauts. As this is counter to why co-founder Hiram Hoffman suggested the founding of the Order in the first place, he goes into self-imposed exile.[1]
